About Me

Maria_Headshots_1_edited.jpg

I am an international economist with a decade of post-graduate experience in policy research on economic growth, trade, investment, and private sector development. I'm experienced in leading analytical programs and projects for multilateral financial institutions, bilateral development agencies, private companies, and NGOs. My specialties include translating complex technical topics into accessible analytical tools and policy messages. My subject matter focus is economic growth, trade, investment, and private sector development.

I am based in the Washington D.C. area with my husband, our young children, and energetic dog. I'm a dual-citizen of Denmark and the United States. I do my best problem-solving on long runs, find rest in the outdoors, and feel most inspired when traveling to new places.
