I have been modeling and understanding the impact of the global trade uncertainties on economies. The analysis has included:

Calculating the projected and potential impact of trade barriers on economic growth and macroeconomic indicators
Understanding the effects on trade balances
Assessing to what extent global commodity price fluctuations could offset the impact
Researching the possible combined impacts of the trade uncertainties with climate variability.
